UPDATE ON COVID-19
(As of October 15, 2022)
Dear Friends,
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, please know that we are committed to the health and well-being of our families, guests, staff and community.
We at the Sifton Funeral Home continue to monitor directives from Health Canada, the Province of Ontario, the Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO), and the Southwestern Public Health Unit in order to keep you protected, while ensuring you and your family receive the level of service expected of our firm.
Be assured that we are, as always, available 24/7 to help you through difficult times following the death of a loved one. We can assist with arrangements by phone and email should you prefer to stay in your own home.
We will continue to celebrate and honour the lives of those we are privileged to serve.
We continue to encourage friends and family to express their condolences through our website and we will ensure these are shared and provided to family members.
Your understanding, cooperation and patience is very much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Brent Sifton & Family
Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you will find it helpful and informative.
Please feel free to browse our pages to learn more about pre-planning a funeral and grief support, as well as the traditional funeral and cremation services that we have to offer. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at anytime. We are here to help, just as we always have been for over 96 years.
We understand that it is not always possible to attend a service or visitation in person, so we encourage you to use our beautifully designed interactive online tributes to pay your respects. Leave a condolence, share a memory, light a candle and more!
Our website provides the option for relatives and friends to purchase a memorial tree as a gift to honour a life. Many people appreciate the opportunity to do this as a sustainable, living tribute that is beneficial for both present and future generations. Trees are planted in the area of greatest need as assessed by The Canadian Institute of Forestry. Each family we serve will be allowed to make the decision as to whether or not the “Plant a Tree” feature is available on their loved one’s Tribute Wall on our website.
