Laura Propper

Laura attended Humber College, Toronto, ON, taking the Funeral Service Education course and completed her "In Service" training at the Sifton Funeral Home before becoming a licensed funeral director in 1998.  She was born and raised in St. Thomas, where she graduated from Central Elgin Collegiate Institute.   Laura resides in St. Thomas with her husband, Henry and their son, Nate.  In her spare time, Laura trains as a competitive boxer.

L. Brent Sifton

A graduate of Humber College, Toronto, ON in Funeral Service Education, Brent received his "In Service" training in London, ON, and joined his father Lyle in 1979, becoming the third generation of the firm.  Brent serves as president and managing director.  He is married to Georgia, a retired museum assistant at the Elgin County Museum and a member of the funeral home support staff. Brent and Georgia are the proud parents of Lara Wheeler (Matt) and Blake Sifton (Chloe), and take joy being the grandparents of Wynne Wheeler.

A lifelong resident of St. Thomas, where he graduated from Parkside Collegiate Institute, Brent has always been active in the community. He is a member of the session at Knox Presbyterian Church, a Past President of both the St. Thomas-Elgin Chapter of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario and the Optimist Club of the Railway City, and served on the board of the Art Gallery St. Thomas-Elgin.  Active in hockey and tennis circles in his younger years, Brent now volunteers his spare time during the summer with the St. Thomas Accessibility Tennis Program, which he finds very fulfilling.
