Obituary of Patricia G. "Pat" Larson (nee Silcox)

Of St. Thomas, ON, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, March 6, 2026, in her 85^th year.  Beloved wife for 68 years to George A. Larson. Dearly loved mother of Capt (Ret’d) Tim Larson (Sylvie Lafrance), Cheryl VanHouwelingen, Boyd Larson, and Carol Caldwell (Dan). She was proud of her 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Dr. Kit Silcox (Cathy). Pat is also fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and their families.

Born in Moose Jaw, SK, April 29, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Grace (née Graham) Silcox. Pat was a retired executive secretary to the pharmacist at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. She was a valued and active member of Talbotville United Church. Pat was very dedicated to the Order of the Eastern Star. She was initiated into Adah Chapter #276 (Mar. 26, 1962). Pat was a Past Matron of Golden Acres Chapter #305 and Niagara Chapter #23, a member of Lincoln Chapter #142 and Areme Chapter #15, a Past District Deputy Grand Matron, and was the Worthy Grand Matron of Ontario (2006-2007).

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. An Eastern Star memorial service and a service to celebrate Pat’s life will be held at Talbotville United Church, 10734 Sunset Road, St. Thomas (Talbotville) on Friday, March 13, 2026, beginning at 1:30 p.m., followed by a reception.
