Our condolences on the loss of your father,grandfather and great grandfather, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We would have liked to be with you as well, but being in Nova Scotia makes that impossible. He will be missed by many, but it is a great comfort to know he is at home with the Lord.
Sorry to hear of the home call of a father, grandfather, great grandfather, and uncle. A true gentleman and dear brother in Christ. We have many good memories of spending joyous hours with Lyle and Doris on the farm. Also spent some time working on the farm during harvest, bagging wheat while riding on the combine in the .back field .A great fisherman was Lyle.
Will meet again in heaven. Doris and I join you in your sorrow, but also in your joy, knowing Lyle is now at home with his Saviour whom he loved and served.

It is a sad day to lose your beloved parent on this earth, but we know we will see them again soon in heaven, which is far better. We have wonderful memories of your dad when your parents would come to visit us in Toronto and at the cottage. Your dad had such a wonderful dry sense of humor which would make us laugh, but also a very serious godly side which we really admired. Love to you all! Sorry we cannot come to the funeral because of doctors appointments and health issues.
