I often sat in front of Chuck and Shirley at church. I fondly remember Chuck as always welcoming and with a ready smile. He was a real gentleman.

I was so sorry to learn of Charlie’s passing. We worked together at London Steel for many years. He was without a doubt one of the nicest and most professional people I’ve had the pleasure to know.

Salt of the earth is the first thing that comes to mind when trying to find words to describe the man Chuck was, without fail. He was a joy to talk to, always generous with his time, and a kind-hearted soul plain and simple. It was a blessing to have known him, and we are nothing but grateful that our lives crossed paths, and Shirley brought him into our family.
Our sincerest sympathy to Shirley, and the Paul, and Blaxall families who loved him well.

We were so very very sorry to hear of the loss of Chuck. What a wonderful, kind soul. We knew him as we bought his previous house. He was so kind throughout the years always waving when he drove by when he was able. If we were out front he would stop and chat. Thinking of all of you during this very difficult time. Chuck was the best step father I could’ve ever asked for! Chuck, you used to say I was the only daughter you had left, with a tear in your eye, I would tell you, you were the only Dad I had left cause My Dad was up looking after your daughter Shelley. That always made you smile. Our last visit I knew it was time for you to go reunite with Brian, Shelley and Shirley. I will miss you forever! Love Penny
