Obituary of Ronald K. "Ron" Stinson

STINSON, Ronald K. “Ron” - Of Shedden, ON, passed away at LHSC, Victoria Hospital on Sunday, June 20, 2021, in his 73^rd year.  Much loved husband of Jo-Anne (née Holborn) Cummings-Stinson.  Loving parent of Maggie Cummings (Antonio Sorge), Benjamin Cummings (Cindy), Wes Cummings (Gayle), and Rosanna Roach (Mike). Grandfather of Gregory, Lydia, Angela, Liliana, and Zachary.  Brother of Carol Rieger (late Blake), John Stinson (Chris), Cathy Knight (Dave “George”), Jim Stinson (Terri Scott), Connie Clutterbuck (Bill), late Garnet Stinson and the late Grant Stinson (late Evelyn).  Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families.  Born in St. Thomas, ON, August 20, 1948, he was a son of the late Goldie and Ada (née Delve) Stinson.  Ron was a retired truck driver who also loved helping out on the family farm.  Remember Ron when you are out working the land.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.  A service to celebrate Ron’s life will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.  Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
