He was born in Montréal, on January 15, 1928.  A retired secondary school teacher, having taught at A.V.S.S. and P.C.I., St. Thomas.  Harry was an avid curler, woodworker, outdoorsman, loved a great crossword puzzle or game of solitaire.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.  Relatives and friends will be received by the family at the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Wednesday afternoon, December 4th from 2:00-5:00 p.m.  A celebration of life will be held at the beginning of summer 2020.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Diabetes Canada or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario will be gratefully acknowledged. I watched you suffer

I saw you die

But all I could do, was sit close by

You went away, we had to part

God eased your pain

But broke my heart
