Dear Barb and Family:
Millie and I were very sorry to hear of Harry's passing. Throughout my years in education and curling, Harry was always a constant presence. He was one with whom you could always joke and anticipate a few jabs of kindly sarcasm whenever we would meet.
Given his draftsman's eye, Harry was also the epitome of skillful pie cutting at the curling club lunches. His quiet demeanour and understated way of conducting himself will be greatly missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing and working with Harry.

Mr. Jones taught me Architectural Drafting at A.V.S.S. in 1966 and 1967. He was one of my favourite teachers!!! He wrote me my very first letter of reference when I had my first job interview. I loved this man!! He was one of the great teachers who helped shape me to enter the real world of life!! R.I.P. my good friend..., with tears of great sadness...., you were ALWAYS my HERO!

As a former neighbour of the Jones family on Oakview Crescent, I can remember Harry and his great role as a Dad who cared for his children and that extended to the children’s friends.
