Thank you, Claudette and family - thank you, Peter! – for a share in the circles of family and friends that Peter had around him, also in the gathering celebrating his life last Saturday. It was clear that these circles were also 'the life of his life,' and so how could he not be part of that gathering with us in the new life of mystery and love he has with us now. In the different periods and moments when Peter and I connected, it was always his hunger and intensity of presence and friendship which I treasured. I pray that I be faithful to that presence, that Peter help each one of us be faithful to that ‘life in these circles of life.’ Peace to all us.

I will miss Peter. I enjoyed his intellect, wit, honesty, courage, forthrightness, but mostly his spirit. I miss our breakfasts together. Claudette, I am sad for your loss. He was a good and caring man. Sorry I couldn't be there today for hugs and storytelling.
