TEETZEL, Carl D., of St. Thomas, formerly of Richmond Hill, ON, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 22, 2018, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband for 58 years to Donna (née Powell) Teetzel. Dearly loved father of the late David Teetzel and Sharon of Keswick, Gord Teetzel and Ronda of St. Thomas, and Ruth Teetzel of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Leigh Teetzel of Toronto, and Doug Teetzel and Shannon of St. Thomas. Dear brother of Bruce Teetzel of St. Thomas, and the late Keith Teetzel and Joyce of Thornhill. Also remembered by brother-in-law, Murray Powell of Aurora. Born in Richmond Hill, ON, November 19, 1937, he was the son of the late Lou and Zellah Teetzel. Carl was a retired computer analyst with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. He will be missed greatly by Ozzie and all his friends and neighbours. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
