Obituary of Nancy L. Stinson (nee Barber)

Of Port Stanley, passed away at Terrace Lodge, Aylmer, on Saturday, November 30, 2024, in her 75th year.  Beloved wife of the late Robert K. “Bob” Stinson (2009). Dearly loved mother of Angela Gonyou (Andrew), and Michelle Clark (Kevin). Cherished grandmother of Wesley, Cadence, McKenna, and Madelynn. Also survived by several siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by son, Daryl K. Stinson.

Born in London, ON, March 12, 1950, she was a daughter of the late George and Olga (née Olenik) Barber. Nancy was retired, having been employed at the Elgin Manor for many years.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. (Visitation prior from 10:00 – 10:50 a.m.) Interment in South Park Cemetery.   Flowers respectfully declined.
