Obituary of Frank C. Schuster

Frank C. Schuster, 82, beloved husband of Jennifer A. (née Berry) Schuster, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2024 at STEGH. Frank passed with family at his side after a short illness which followed several serious health challenges over the last ten years. He met these difficulties with determination and optimism.

Frank was born in Kitchener, ON, son of John and Anna (née Altmeyer) Schuster, and brother to Michael, predeceased. He was a beloved father to Samantha, Justin, and Desiree, predeceased, loved father-in-law to Yam Gurung, and beloved grandfather to Charlotte and Kam Gurung. Also, dear uncle to Lars, Joel, James and Chelsea Berry, Thomas and Alex Berry, and cherished great-uncle to Edie, Walt, and Reggie Berry.

He retired from Ford Motor Company of Canada’s St. Thomas Assembly Plant. Frank was a former musician in his brother’s band. He and Jennifer enjoyed golf and travel in retirement. Frank was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, St. Thomas.

Cremation has taken place. A private family service has been planned with Rev. Mavis Currie officiating. If so desired, please consider a memorial donation to the Hospice of Elgin.
