Obituary of R. Paul Luxton

Of St. Thomas, ON, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2024, in his 81st year.  Beloved husband of Linda (née Deeley) Luxton. Dearly loved father of Karen O’Dell (Michael), Christine Tate (Jarrod), and Sara MacDonald (Justin). He was proud of his grandson, Jacob O’Dell. A sister, Gweyn Powers predeceased him.

Born in St. Thomas, December 12, 1943, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Gertrude (née Ingram) Luxton. Paul was a retired maintenance supervisor at Canadian Timken Limited, St. Thomas. In his retirement years, Paul enjoyed camping and travel adventures with Linda. They took cruises to various places throughout the world, driving tours to eastern Canada, and train trips to western Canada.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation or public service. If so desired, please consider a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
