Please accept our condolences on the passing of our dear friend Bill. Our families were friends and Talbot St. business neighbours for many years. We remember attending Roy & Margaret’s 50th wedding anniversary when they lived above the shop (the first time we saw a money tree!) In the summer, when we were finished delivering the Times-Journal, Betty kindly drove us the cottage in Pt. Stanley so we didn’t have to wait for our dad to finish work at the hardware store. Bill & our dad were Lodge brothers and shared a close friendship throughout their lives. He was gentle, kind and had an infectious grin. Thanks for sharing him with us these many years.
