To the Lockwood family,
I was deeply sorry to hear of Wally's passing. Wally touched my life many years past, during a public school hockey game between Scott St. and Manitoba St. schools. We were losing by a sizeable score, mostly because of Wally, who was a formidable player. I knew because I was the keeper. During the game, my feet became very cold and painful. I could not continue and was in tears. Wally came to my rescue. He immediately took charge and rubbed my feet in the snow and in a short time they were steaming. I will never forget this because his action possibly saved my feet. Thanks again Wally. God speed and cheers.
