Of St. Thomas, formerly of RR2, Grand Bend, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, in her 103rd year. Wife of the late H. Ross “Woodie” Woodhouse. Mother of Ross Woodhouse (Anna) of Shedden, Frank Woodhouse (Kathie) of RR2, Grand Bend, and the late Larry Woodhouse (Jean of Portland, Oregon). Grandmother of Ross Woodhouse (Shannon), Scott Woodhouse (Tanya), Lisa Higgs (Mark), Dana Nagy (Janas), Michael Woodhouse (Jodi), Andrea Barendregt (Kevin), and Paul Blyth. Also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and their families.  Millie was the last surviving member of her own immediate family, having been predeceased by four sisters and six brothers.

 

Born in Chatham, ON, March 3, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Elizabeth “Lizzie” (neé Milne) Sinclair. Millie was a retired employee of Kellogg’s, London, where she worked for 26 ½ years.

 

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and private interment will be made in Hunter Cemetery, Lake Line, Southwold Twp. Memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be gratefully acknowledged.

 

Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
