Obituary of Florence "Flo" Simmons

Of St. Thomas, formerly of Toronto, passed away at Caressant Care on Bonnie Place on Friday, June 24, 2022, in her 88th year. Dear sister of Ellen Stevenson (late Stanley) of Picton, and the late Harold Simmons (Mary of Fredericton, NB). Also fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, and their families. Born in Picton, ON, July 23, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Sanford and Burnice (née Reid) Simmons. Flo was a retired clerk at the former CFB Picton.  She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, St. Thomas, where she sang in the choir.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.  Private interment will take place in Glenwood Cemetery, Picton.  Memorial donations to Knox Presbyterian Church will be gratefully acknowledged.  Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
