Obituary of James D. "Jim" Mason

Of St. Thomas, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the age of 83. Dearly loved father of Tom Mason of Dufferin, NB, Tari Doty of St. Thomas, Tim Mason of Wheatley, Joe Mason and Dan Mason, both of Chatham.  Loved brother of Wesley Minshall of Forest, Gayle Brown of Essex, and the late Noreen Boismere.  Also survived by a number of grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  Born in Dresden, ON, December 24, 1938, he was a son of the late Clayton and Cleda (née Misselbrook) Mason.  Jim was a retired truck driver.  He was a former associate member of Branch #201, Royal Canadian Legion, Essex.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service.
