Obituary of Thomas R. Needham

Of Port Stanley, passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, in his 85th year. Tom leaves behind his loving wife Joyce, with whom he enjoyed 56 years of marriage. Dear brother of John Needham (Betty) of California, the late Edward and David Needham, and the late Barbara Tait. Tom will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins, especially Pat Erickson (Richard) of Michigan.  Also missing Tom are his friends, Robert and Georgina Cooke of London, as well as many others.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Plans are being made for a celebration of his life at his home in Port Stanley in the summer. If so desired, memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be appreciated.  Joyce indicated that it was her and Tom’s wish that you consider charities that help the victims in the Ukraine.  Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
