Formerly of St. Thomas, passed away at Chartwell Aylmer on Thursday, December 30, 2021, in her 65th year.  Born in St. Thomas, ON, April 25, 1957, she was the loved daughter of Mary (née Wilcox) Smoke of St. Thomas and the late Verne Smoke (2013). Dear sister of Cheryl Doyon (Phil), Darrell Smoke, Susan Robbins (Tim Murphy), all of St. Thomas, and the late Alison Portlock (late Ed). Also fondly remembered by her aunts, nieces, nephews and their families, and cousins. Kathy was associated with First Yarmouth (Plains) Baptist Church. She formerly enjoyed participating in bowling, swimming, floor hockey and T-Ball with the Special Olympics.

 

By invitation, a private visitation and private funeral service will be held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160). Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, attendance numbers will be restricted, physical distancing will be followed, and a properly worn mask or face covering is required. Interment in Elmdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations to St. Thomas Special Olympics will be gratefully acknowledged.
