Of Woodstock, ON, formerly of St. Thomas, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 4, 2021, in his 78th year. Beloved husband for over 51 years to Donna (née Stanley) Ball. Father of Connie Dowell (Kevin) and Tammy King (Blair Ryan). Grandfather of Karlee Csire (Andrew), Emily Ryan King, and the late Megan Dowell. Great grandfather of Rowan Csire. Brother-in-law of Eva Jacques, and Jim and Beverly Stanley. Also remembered by several nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as Donna’s aunt, Alice Kirk. Born in St. Thomas, ON, March 30, 1944, he was the son of the late Lorne and Dorothy (née Olive) Ball. Don was a retired employee of Jaeger Canada Ltd. He was a former member of the St. Thomas Jaycees. 

 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation and private funeral service will be held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, St. Thomas, (519-631-1160). Attendance numbers will be restricted, physical distancing will be followed, and a properly worn mask or face covering is required. Interment in Elmdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
