Obituary of Richard R. Vale

VALE, Richard R., of St. Thomas, following a courageous battle, passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his family, on Friday, December 1, 2017, at the age of 43. Beloved son of Gloria Vale of St. Thomas and the late Daniel Vale.  Cherished father of Hunter and Colton Vale, and their mother Brenda Ann Vale, all of St. Thomas.  Loving brother of Michael Vale (Donna) of Whitby, and Jessica Vale of St. Thomas.  Dear uncle of Nicole and Emily Vale of Whitby.  Also loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Richard was born in Scarborough, ON, August 13, 1974. He was an employee of Motion Specialties, London.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life gathering will be held at the Masonic Centre of Elgin, 42703 Fruit Ridge Line, St. Thomas on Saturday, December 9th from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.  By request of the family, please attend dressed in your favourite sports apparel.  Flowers respectfully declined.  If you so desire, donations to a Trust Fund for his sons Hunter and Colton would be appreciated by the family and can be made at the Libro Credit Union, St. Thomas.
