Our deepest condolences to Dorothy and family. We were so sorry to hear of Harry's passing. We will always remember this gentle, kind man. He was Henrys first real friend when he moved up to St Thomas and they remained so all these decades later. He will be dearly missed but his memory, his legacy will live on. It was our privilege to call him friend. May he rest in peace with the God of his faith. Henry and Neva Moelker

I am so very sorry to read of Harry's passing here. I've known Harry since my days working in Port Stanley at the CIBC and that was about 43 years ago. Harry was always a very pleasant soft spoken man who was always kind to others. A friend for many years. Thinking of his family and friends. May he rest peacefully. I will miss you Harry.

Many good memories of Harry here in FL... this photo was from one of the many spring training baseball parks that we visited.

My sincere condolences to Mrs Alway, Darlene & Jim, Raymond, Merrilee & John. I have many fond memories of Mr Alway. He was a gentle man that spoke with patience and kindness. I remember Merrilee & I riding along in the work van on occasion, as he had work to do at a rental property. He would take us to the farm south of Sparta for the day, while we played, he worked and took the time to saddle up the horse for us. I remember annually attending Western Fair with the family and shopping at Towers for back to school clothes. My first CNE experience was with the Alway family. Mr & Mrs Alway loaded the family station wagon with kids and traveled down the 401 to spend the day in the pavilions while the kids enjoyed the midway rides. He ensured our weekly safe arrival and return from Pioneer Girls. As the years passed I would occasionally see Mr & Mrs Alway at the grocery store. I would say hello, introduce myself, and they would take the time to chat and share their joys of family life & love. Mrs Alway, Darlene, Raymond, Merrilee, you and your families are in my prayers. May God's Comforting Grace be with you. Beth Dalton Beecroft

To the Alway family; We are so sorry for your loss. We became friends with both the dynamic duo (Harry & Ted) a few years back and we were certainly blessed to have them come across our path. We never met such giving individuals and it won't be the same without Harry, we will surely miss him. He has certainly a place in heaven. Love, Brad & Karen Morrison

We are so grateful to God for the assurance that Uncle Harry is in heaven with his Lord Jesus. We are thankful for the time we were able to spend with this gentle, kind, funny, generous, big-hearted and caring man. For three months in the fall of 2012 when we lived in St. Thomas, we enjoyed sharing the same pew at Eastwood Baptist Church with Dad (Ted), Uncle Harry and Aunt Dorothy. We always enjoyed our time with Uncle Harry - sometimes doing some painting, and sometimes sharing coffee or ice cream. It was wonderful when Uncle Harry accompanied Dad on a road trip to Alberta in the fall of 2019. People in our church still remember Uncle Harry with fondness. He will be missed. Much love to the family.

I was so very sorry to hear of Uncle Harry's passing, although we are all assured that he is rejoicing in Heaven now. I wish we could be there with you to celebrate his long and full life. Generous with his time and friendship, and always so humble. He was always a quiet man, but kind and caring, and supportive of all who knew him. I'm thankful for all the time he could spend with Dad, and I know he will be very missed. Much love to all the family.
