TAYLOR, Mary (née Delmage) - Of St. Thomas, age 73, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, April 26, 2021, following injuries sustained in a traffic accident.  Beloved wife for nearly 52 years to T. P. “Pete” Taylor.  Dearly loved mother of Marlo Taylor (Darren Smith) of St. Thomas, and Teryl Taylor (Christina Rader) of Danbury, CT.  Mary was proud of her grandchildren, Amelia, Liam, Violet and Cole.  Dear sister of Wendy Bannerman (late Ron), Tammy Delmage, Sandra Reeves (Al), and the late Penny Laidlaw (Norm).  Also fondly remembered by in-laws, Susan and Jim Dyson, Fred Ens (late Diane), and Judy Hodgins (late Gary Taylor), as well as several nieces and nephews.  Born in London, ON, February 1, 1948, daughter of the late William and Florence (née Glover) Delmage.  Mary was a former employee of both the London and St. Thomas Psychiatric Hospital.  She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, St. Thomas.  Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and was an avid walker. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.  Mary’s family will celebrate her life with a private service.  Memorial donations to Knox Presbyterian Church or the Ontario SPCA will be gratefully acknowledged.  Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).

Arrangements

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.  Mary’s family will celebrate her life with a private service.
