Obituary of Margaret "Liz" Donaldson (nee Wilkinson)
DONALDSON, Margaret “Liz” (née Wilkinson)- Of St. Thomas, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, February 28, 2021, in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Charles G. “Chuck” Donaldson. Loving mother of Chris Hamilton (Sarah), Sherri Hamilton (Wil), Lauri Stover (Dave), and Scott Hamilton (Tammy). Dear sister of Stan Wilkinson (Gail), Cathy Norris (late Kim), Debbie Wilkinson (Mike), and the late Butch Wilkinson (Sue). Liz is also sadly missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, in-laws, nieces and nephews. Born in Sarnia, ON, October 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Eleanor (née Stokes) Wilkinson. Liz was a retired dietary aide at the Valleyview Home, St. Thomas. She enjoyed cooking, baking, camping, crocheting blankets, road trips, yard sales, gardening, and her pets. By invitation, a private visitation and funeral service will be held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160). A properly worn mask or face covering is required. Interment in Elmdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Animal Aide will be gratefully acknowledged.
