KLAVER, Sylvia (née Soepboer)- Of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, October 12, 2020, in her 87th year.  She is now with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Her husband of 59 years, Oege, passed away in 2014.  Survived by her brothers, George (Marie), Steve (Joanna), Carl (Joan) and Don (Anne); her children, Theresa (Ron), Richard, Wayne (Gerda), Doug (Melody), Shelly-Anne, Sherry-Lynn, Michael, and Phillip, her foster son, Terry (Deb), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss their Nana/Oma.  A private family Celebration of Life service will be held at her church, Bible Baptist.  A mask or face covering is required.  Memorial donations to Hope and Healing International (formerly Christian Blind Mission) will be gratefully acknowledged.  Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).

 

Please note: As per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO), https://thebao.ca/registrars-directive-province-wide-cemetery-gathering-limits/, attendance at indoor funeral services and visitations and outdoor funeral services and visitations including graveside services will be restricted.
