MITCHELL, Glenn S.- Of St. Thomas, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, in his 73rd year. Father of Byron Mitchell (Chris) of Dutton, and the late Allen Mitchell. Grandfather of Mercedes Mitchell of London, Joey Mitchell and Hailey Mitchell, both of Dutton. Brother of Sharon Harper of Toronto, Colleen Mitchell of Victoria, BC, and the late John Mitchell (Dianne of Burlington). Born in Toronto, ON, May 28, 1947, he was the son of the late Harold Mitchell and the late Phyllis (née Allen) Mitchell. Glenn was a self-employed carpenter. He was an avid HO scale train hobbyist. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Glenn’s life will be held at a future time. Arrangements entrusted to the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
