Of St. Thomas, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, February 9, 2020, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald W. Fleming (2002). Dearly loved mother of Alan (Leanne), Mark (Tracey), David (Robin), Lance (Dee), and the late Scott Fleming (1968). Cherished grandmother of Nettie (Alexander), Sage (Braden), Fraser (Justine), Marissa (Ron), Eva, and Rowen. She was proud of her great grandchildren, Zella, James, and Céleste. Dear sister of Margaret Turville (late Don), and dear sister-in-law of Fred and Clara Fleming. Also fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families. Born in Toronto, ON, June 30, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Fraser and Janet (née Raeburn) Sinclair. Nancy was a retired secretary at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital and a former employee of the Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Thomas Anglican Church. Nancy was a 62 year member and Past Noble Grand of Supreme Rebekah Lodge #251, St. Thomas, a member of St. Thomas Lodge #76, I.O.O.F., a Past District Deputy President of West St. Thomas District #18, I.O.O.F., and an associate member of Lady Howard Rebekah Lodge #321, Strathroy, Charity Rebekah Lodge #377, Harrietsville, and Harmony LEA #3. She was a Past Matron of Central Star Chapter #57, O.E.S, St. Thomas, and a member of Golden Acres Chapter #305, O.E.S., Shedden and Areme Chapter #15, O.E.S., Vienna. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will received by the family at the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Wednesday, February 12th from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A public memorial service will be held at the Masonic Centre of Elgin, 42703 Fruit Ridge Line, St. Thomas on Thursday, February 13th at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow. Flowers respectfully declined. Memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be gratefully acknowledged. A Rebekah memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 6:45 p.m. under the auspices of Supreme Rebekah Lodge #251, St. Thomas.
