Obituary of Eileen Vidler (nee Clark)

VIDLER, Eileen (née Clark) - Of St. Thomas, passed away at the Elgin Manor on Friday, October 4, 2019, in her 93^rd year. Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Vidler (2000), predeceased by brothers Carl and Ron.  Loved mother of Steven Vidler (June) of St. Thomas, and Pennie Meadows (Mike) of Goderich and her grandchildren, Brett (Amber) and Brianne Vidler, Mindi Meadows (Mark), Brooke Meadows (Chris), and Cole Meadows, and her great-grandchildren Logan, Brayden, Ember, Eli, Flynn and Skogen.  Also remembered by nieces, nephews, families and friends.  During the war years, Eileen worked as a telephone operator for Bell, and in later years she worked for Sears Canada until her retirement. In keeping with Eileen’s wishes, a private memorial service will be held following cremation; interment will be in Elmdale Memorial Park, St. Thomas.  In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one's choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
