Mom, its been 2 months now and not one day has become easier to process the reality.
I feel like 1/2 of myself was lost along with you. I never could have imagined a greater emptiness than when my Angel Baby Skylar passed away 19 years ago, however, it's so hard to accept.
I was able to finally make sense of it far more quickly and use Sky's memory as a beautiful memory and a gift which only a few of us are lucky enough to experience, I held an Angel, you held an Angel, we've experienced his communication tactics.
With you, I feel a huge emptiness and simply cannot come to terms with the suddenness of your departure.
I have completely turned into 'that' someone who I have worked so hard to avoid being. I've alienated the people I shouldn't have, I haven't developed a coping strategy, I tried to plan fishing Canada day weekend and the very thought of putting my gear in the car, I just couldn't do it. Now, That I have your "pier perching" Ugly Stick, I hope it's the small piece of the puzzle towards learning to overcome my grief and depression.
Thank you, Mom, for everything in life. It's so hard, day-by-day seeing thinking about how much time we spent together, how many common hobbies we had, driving by a garage sale makes me remember that ice cream is perfect breakfast food!, our spontaneous road trips.
I Love You So Much, I am so blessed to have had all the time and memories. Some people just aren't that lucky to have had such a close bond.
You have touched so many people with your kind, generous, selflessness, and true down-to-earth heart and mond.

My sincerest condolences to Bud and all of Liz's family. I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. But one thing I know for sure is she will be up there fishing and chatting with Aunt Betty. She always had the biggest smile when I would run into her and we would have a great chat.

Liz was an angel here on earth. I can’t even begin to express how blessed my Father and I were to have her friendship. She went above and beyond to care for my Father's fur babies and his home after his passing. I can only imagine what a beautiful reunion there was at the rainbow bridge. My condolences to Dan and all of Liz’s family. She was an amazing woman.
