Obituary of Annabelle Ewing (nee McQuiggan)

EWING, Annabelle (née McQuiggan), of St. Thomas, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, in her 78^th year.  Beloved partner of James M. “Jim” Hanley.  Dearly loved mother of Mike Ewing of Ingersoll, and Mitch Ewing of London.  Proud grandmother of Brittany Ewing of Windsor, and Rachael Ewing of St. Thomas.  Born in Vienna, ON, June 21, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Alvah E. “Al” and Marjorie (née Claus) McQuiggan.  Annabelle and Jim operated Annabelle’s Family Restaurant in St. Thomas for a number of years.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.  Arrangements entrusted to the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
