WATSON, Ruth (née Brown)- Of St. Thomas, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, in her 74th year.  Beloved wife of the late James K. Watson (2013).  Loving mother of Steven Watson (Shelley) of Cobourg, Ron Watson (Lisa) of Ridgetown, Mike Watson (Tammy) of Roseneath, and Doug Simpson (Marg) of St. Thomas.  Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Rowan, Ainslie, Bronwyn, Jesse, Douglas James, Robbie, and Kendra, and great grandmother of Dominick.  Dear sister of Fay Beaton (late John) of Sault Ste. Marie, Bob Brown (Joyce) of Port Stanley, and Laura Griffin (John) of St. Thomas.   Also remembered by in-laws, George W. and Birthe Watson, and Clare MacDonald, all of St. Thomas, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Born in St. Thomas, ON, September 27, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Lillian (née McCullough) Brown.  Ruth was a retired chef.  She enjoyed sewing and formerly enjoyed bowling, yard sales and bargain hunting.  Relatives and friends will be received by the family on Sunday evening, December 30th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) where the funeral service will be held on Monday, December 31st at 11:00 a.m.  Following cremation, interment in Elmdale Memorial Park.  Memorial donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
