Kevin is a graduate of Humber College, Toronto, ON in Funeral Service Education. He received his “In Service” training in Brantford, ON before becoming a licensed funeral director in 2000. Kevin gained considerable experience at funeral homes in Paris, Ayr, and London before joining the Sifton Funeral Home in 2018. He was born in Wallaceburg and raised in the Sarnia area. Married to Angela, they currently reside in London. Their dearly loved daughter, Melanie passed away suddenly in October of 2011, at the age of 17.
Kevin is a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in London, and is the current President of Bereaved Families of Ontario- Southwest Region, being very active within the organization. He is a 3rd and 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and has held many different positions. Kevin currently holds the position of District Deputy and has been active with the Knights of Columbus for over 18 years.
Laura attended Humber College, Toronto, ON, taking the Funeral Service Education course and completed her "In Service" training at the Sifton Funeral Home before becoming a licensed funeral director in 1998. She was born and raised in St. Thomas, where she graduated from Central Elgin Collegiate Institute. Laura resides in St. Thomas with her husband, Henry and their son, Nate. In her spare time, Laura trains as a competitive boxer.
L. Brent Sifton
A graduate of Humber College, Toronto, ON in Funeral Service Education, Brent received his "In Service" training in London, ON, and joined his father Lyle in 1979, becoming the third generation of the firm. Brent serves as president and managing director. He is married to Georgia, a museum assistant at the Elgin County Museum and a member of the funeral home support staff. Brent and Georgia are the proud parents of Lara Wheeler (Matt) and Blake Sifton (Chloe), and take joy being the grandparents of Wynne Wheeler.
A lifelong resident of St. Thomas, where he graduated from Parkside Collegiate Institute, Brent has always been active in the community. He is a member of the session at Knox Presbyterian Church, a Past President of both the St. Thomas-Elgin Chapter of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario and the Optimist Club of the Railway City, and served on the board of the Art Gallery St. Thomas-Elgin. Active in hockey and tennis circles in his younger years, Brent now volunteers his spare time during the summer with the St. Thomas Accessibility Tennis Program, and the Pinafore Tennis Club (PTC), which he finds very fulfilling.
