Obituary of Mary Elizabeth "Bette" Fogal

After a life filled with travel, gardening, family, and lifelong friendships, Mary Elizabeth “Bette” Fogal passed away peacefully at Royal Oak Senior Living, St. Thomas, Ontario on February 2, 2026, in her 97th year.

Beloved wife for over 59 years to the late Kenneth Robert “Ken” Fogal (2009). Dearly loved mother of Jennifer Soper (Brad), and Mark Fogal (Mary). Cherished grandmother of Karley Soper (Curtis Stoehr), and Cooper Soper (Cassandra Grant). She was the proud great grandmother of Colton Stoehr. Bette was the dear sister of Ruth Reid. Predeceased by niece, Debbie Evans.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
