Obituary of M. Pauline Silcox
A resident of Bobier Villa, Dutton, formerly of Shedden, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, November 6, 2025, in her 94th year. Pauline is fondly remembered by her cousins and friends.
Born in St. Thomas, ON, January 3, 1932, she was the daughter of the late George and Viola “Vi” (née Styles) Silcox. Pauline was a long-time employee of the Bank of Montreal, having retired in 1987. She was a member of Talbotville United Church and was a member of the former Bethany United Church, Shedden. Pauline was a Life Member and a Past Treasurer of the Shedden Women’s Institute. She was an animal lover, enjoyed travelling, and was well known for her highly skilled needlepoint work.
The funeral service will be held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. (Visitation prior from 10:00-10:50 a.m.). Interment in Shedden Cemetery. Memorial donations to Talbotville United Church or the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
