Obituary of Helen Theresa Robicheau (nee Thibault)

 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helen, of St. Thomas, who left us peacefully on Saturday, June 28, 2025, surrounded by her family at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, in her 94th year.

 

Beloved wife of the late Donald J. “Don” Robicheau (2004). Cherished mother of Donna MacInnis (late Norman), John Robicheau (Nancy), Lynn Taylor (John), Shawn Robicheau (late Lori), and the late Brian Robicheau (late Barbara “Barbie”). Loving Nana of Trevor MacInnis (Susan), Mary Jenkins (Adam), Troy Robicheau, Scott Robicheau (Erin), Ryan Robicheau, Jasmin Sanford (Colin), Melissa Robicheau (Trevor), Christine Senior (Jason), and Diane Garito (Dom). Treasured sister of Doris Barr, late Violet Amero and the late Marie Parker.  Also survived by many great

-grandchildren, as well as her nieces, nephews, and their families.

 

Born in Digby, NS on August 8, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (née Deveau) Thibault. She was most joyful surrounded by music and the love of her family. She spent her final years at Talbot Manor Retirement Home, where she made several dear friends. Helen was also a devoted member of St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Thomas.

If so desired, please consider a memorial donation to St. Anne’s Church or the charity of one’s choice.

 

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital ICU for the exceptional care shown to our mother, and a special thank you to her “angel,” Joan, for her compassion and kindness throughout the years.

 

Forever in our hearts, she will be remembered for her love of family, music, and the warmth she shared with everyone.
