Obituary of Shirley Marie Slaght

Of St. Thomas, ON, passed away peacefully at her residence, the Valleyview Home, on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the age of 98. 

Shirley was born in St. Thomas, April 23, 1927. She was a daughter of the late Laura Pearl (née Robbins) Slaght and late Albert Brewester Slaght, and the sister of the late A. Ruth Robertson, and late Paul L. Slaght. Shirley is remembered by her nieces, nephews, and their families.

Shirley was a retired employee of Hartz Canada, St. Thomas. She was a member of St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Thomas, and proudly served as St. Anne’s organist for over 30 years.

Shirley requested no visitation, no service, with private interment in Elmdale Memorial Park, St. Thomas.
