Obituary of Robert E. J. "Bob" Cawthorpe

Of St. Thomas, ON, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in his 72^nd year.

Cherished brother of Joseph Cawthorpe, Jean Cawthorpe, and Dr. David Cawthorpe. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Joel, Rachel, Sarah, Leah, Rika, Avraham, Kevin, Dannielle, Ian, Joshua, and Marguerite, and their families. He was the best friend of Michael Main.

Bob was born in St. Thomas on August 27, 1953. He was a son of the late Dr. Joseph F. Cawthorpe (1966) and the late Jean (née McCaw) Cawthorpe (2002). Bob was a graduate of Parkside Collegiate Institute, St. Thomas. For seven years he lived in New Brunswick and worked for Natural Recovery. Bob was a huge Star Trek and Doctor Who fan.  

By invitation, a private visitation and funeral service will be held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, St. Thomas (519-631-1160). Interment to follow in the Union United Church Cemetery. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
