Sean took me under his wing when I first started in the industry, always focused on setting me up for success.
Over the years, we kept in touch through various career changes, and no matter where life took us, Sean was always eager to share stories about his family, golf trips to Michigan, and hockey with his friends.
Somehow, we often found ourselves wrapping up workdays together — whether in Ontario, Manitoba, the East Coast, or Las Vegas — taking a moment to check in on each other and raise a glass to the day.
I’ll miss our chats and those moments, but I’ll always be grateful for the time we made.
You’ll be missed, McCormick. Keep smiling, my friend!

Char and Cheyenne, wow hen i got your message at the office i was stunned, Sean was so full of life, i think we met almost 20 years ago when he was our hardie rep, he really was an old school sales guy, he would go to the end of the earth for his clients and his products. But most of all i remember his positive outlook on life, How much he loved his family and even with that goofy golf swing he always took my money

Man, this is tough. Sean and I have been in this industry together for a long time and despite the fact that we never actually worked directly with each other at all, Sean and I became friends and would always find time for dinner and a couple of drinks to catch up on our families, the industry and attempt to solve all of the world's problems at any of the many tradeshows and events that our companies attended all over eastern Canada.
Charlene and Cheyenne, while I don't know you personally, Sean was incredibly proud of his family and filled me in on all of your goings on over the years. Sean was larger than life and there is now a big void in the building materials industry in Ontario that can't be filled.
Rest Well Sean, I'm going to miss our chats brother.

Dear Sean, it is extremely difficult imagining you are no longer with us. Please know we all loved you dearly. You shared your generosity as your strong sincere respectful character shone on everyone. You were the glue bringing all family members together keeping the McCormick bond strong and committed. Please know your spirit remains strong as I know cousins Gaelan and Jared and I will miss you. Aunt Sheila

Charlene, Cheyenne and the complete McCormick family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Sean and I have dealt together for almost 30 yrs. I’ve travelled throughout North America with Sean attending trade shows, plant tours, client meetings etc. We always made time to converse about our families, asking each other how everyone was on each visit. He was always a proud Husband/Father and had a smile on his face when speaking about you. Even if we didn’t have a meeting set up but were in each others area we would connect and get together for a beverage. We often spoke to one another and bounced many ideas off of each other just to simply help each other out. He was one of the best in the business, his word was solid, always doing his best for his customer or his dealers clients. He was an old school Rep which we have very few left in our industry. The Building Industry in Ontario has lost a true gentleman. Matt McKay (Chatham, Ontario)

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Sean while he was working with Hardie. He was such a "good guy." I will miss seeing him at shows/events talking about family and hockey, never spending a lot of time talking about work because that was secondary.

I was shocked to hear of Sean’s passing. He was a good man always with a smile. You both are the best neighbours we could hope for and I miss "our talks with refreshments." You have been on my mind since I heard of his death. Thankfully you have your daughter and her husband close by, miss you both. See you in March, sending hugs your way. Pat
