I had the great pleasure of knowing Marjorie, she loved her birds and would often tell me about her travels and all the different birds she saw, or she would reminisce about her travels to England, Sauble Beach or just going for a drive with friends. I remember one time she asked me to read a recipe, and as I started to read she started to recite the recipe. I think she knew each recipe off by heart, and I admired her for that. She was still sharp as a whip. During the last months, I was not able to spend time with Marjorie which I missed. She was a lovely lady and I know many family and friends are going to miss her as I know I will.

We were so sad to hear of Marjorie's passing. We loved her and the many memories we have of visiting Gowdey's especially at Sauble Beach, picnics at parks, and bird watching! Mark and I are so glad we took the time this summer to go visit with her and go out to a little cafe, and took her on a lovely drive around St Thomas. We have so enjoyed the Merlin Bird App she told us about.. at age 95! heart On Nov 2, I found my first Mountain Bluebird. My first thought was.. Marjorie would have loved that. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and the family at this time. She will be missed.
