I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Mirka's passing. Sending my love and healing energy to you all. The obituary, in true Back Family fashion, is amazing in both the parts I didn't know (her name ❤️, early life) and tells the story of her life and commitment to family so perfectly. I can hear her ever hospitible voice and harkens back the warmth and memories of big Christmases, amazing meals, fun, games and family time I remember so well. I'll only add her seemingly constant commitment to hair braiding and her infectious, joyous and knowing smile.
Aunt Mirka was a maker - of family, dreams (often requiring costumes), and memories. She leaves a legacy of love.
Godspeed Aunt Mirka. I love you.
Sending hugs and love Uncle John, John, Allison, Elaine, Sharon and families.
Now to find her song...
