Grace was a great friend & coworker of my mother, Lois McConnell. I taught her a few swimming lessons & never laughed so much with her. Every time I had the wonderful occasion to see her was a gift. Her kind spirit, loving way and sense of humour made my day brighter. She was a true gem. My sympathies to the family for your loss. She will be missed

I had Grace as a Nursing teacher at the St. Thomas Hospital from 1982-84. I had her on my first clinical rotation and she scared me half to death!! Then I had her on my very last rotation before I graduated and I absolutely LOVED her. She taught me so much about being a great Registered Nurse and I have thought of her very often in my 38 year nursing career! She was a wonderful teacher and nurse. She made a great impact on the students that she taught!

My sincerest sympathy to the Thomas family and friends. Mrs Thomas was a force to be reckoned with...but had one of the kindest hearts I have known! I respected, revered and followed the example she set as a Registered Nurse. Thank you Mrs Thomas...you have been thought of often through the years. May you rest in peace.
