Obituary of Dorothy I. Wilkinson

WILKINSON, Dorothy I. “Babe”, of St. Thomas, passed away at her residence on Thursday, September 28, 2017, in her 82nd year. Dearly loved sister of Ruth Adrian, William Wilkinson (Mary), and the late Robert Wilkinson (1985).  Loved aunt of Leslie Tanton (David Chalk), Karen Pomnikow (Paul), Bryan Wilkinson (Caroline), Ruthann O’Neil, Robin Wilkinson (Nancy), and Donna Parker (Michael).  Loving great aunt of Rebecca Vachon, Daniel and Natasha Pomnikow, Amy Wilkinson, Lisa Wilson (Josh), Tim O’Neil, Nicole Wall (Kevin), Matthew Wilkinson (Kristy), Eric Johnson, and the late Bill Tanton. Cherished great great aunt of Paisley, Harlee, Ewan, Fayth, Tionna, Taya, Milan, Alexis, Mekhi, Ava, Jordan, Matty, and the late Kaelin.  Dorothy was the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (née Reaume) Wilkinson. She was a retired secretary.  Dorothy was a proud volunteer for 25 years with the Caring Cupboard, St. Thomas.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation or funeral service.  A graveside service will be held at the St. Thomas Cemetery, 67 West Avenue on Thursday, October 5th at 3:15 p.m.  Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, World Vision or the Caring Cupboard will be gratefully acknowledged.  Arrangements entrusted to the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
